歴史の寺 史跡・特別名勝 天龍寺ご案内 天龍寺。臨済宗天龍大本山。正しくは霊亀山天龍資聖禅寺で、京都市右京区嵯峨に位置する。一三三九年（暦応二）吉野で亡くなった後醍醐天皇の菩提を弔うために, 足利尊氏が夢窓国師を開山として創建した。
Temple History Historic Site ・Special Scenic Spot Tenryu-ji Guide Tenryu-ji is the primary temple of the Rinza sect of Buddhism. The temple, properly called the Temple of the Heavenly Dragon, is situated in Saga Prefecture, Kyoto City, Ukyo Ward. In 1339 (Ryakuō 2) Takashi Ashikaga in order to mourn the death of the Emperor Godaigo, who died in Yoshino, founded Musō Soseki’s temple.
