First Kanji
The first kanji in the main terminology is 証, a JLPT N1 character, which means evidence, proof, certificate.
Notes
- One can see the frontiers in translation when merely one compares the text in the gray box in the upper right hand side of each of Fujitsu’s diagrams. The diagram in Japanese names the function as 証券会社. and the English diagram ascribes the activity to a Broker-Dealer. So, does 証券会社 = Broker-Dealer? Not quite, because 証券会社 more complete transaction is the term Securities Firm, which is a more general term than Broker-Dealer. In U.S. English, a broker dealer is a securities firm, while a Securities Firm is not necessarily a broker-dealer.
- The main terminology was extracted from the following diagrams.
Telecom Terms
CAD (Computer-Aided Design) Process of designing products or systems by using a computer; CAD enables users - via keyboard, control mouse, light pen, and video display terminal to manipulate design data in computer memory.CAD (コンピューター支援設計)コンピューターを使用することにようによる商品又はシステムの設計処理;CADは、キーボード、コントロール・マウス、ライト・ペン、ビデオ表示端末を経由してコンピューターの記憶装置の設計データを操作する事を可能とする。
